USAGE

• Wash and dry the area where the cream will be applied.

• Apply a thick layer of the numbing cream (approximately 2 mm thick). Gently rub it in and cover the area with plastic wrap (cling film).

• Leave the cream covered with the plastic wrap for 20–60 minutes before the procedure (DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, LEAVE THE CREAM ON FOR LONGER THAN 60 MINUTES).

• After 20–60 minutes, remove the plastic wrap and wipe away any remaining cream with a paper towel.

Tattoo numbing cream work by blocking pain signals in the area it has been applied to from reaching the brain.Tattoo numbing cream works by numbing the surface of the skin for a short period of time (up to 4-5 hours) and offering highly effective pain relief.

Some of the worst areas include: The armpit, the ribcage, ankles and shins, nipples and breasts, groin, elbows or kneecaps, behind the knee’s, hips, neck and spine, head, face and ears, lips, hands, fingers, feet and toes, stomach, inner bicep.Tattoos can be extremely painful in certain areas. Usually, the most painful areas are where there are bones or where your skin is thin.

Similar to applying any new substance to your skin, PRETAT numbing cream can cause some minor side effects, although not everyone will experience them. A mild reaction (paleness or redness of the skin, slight puffiness, initial burning or itching) may temporarily occur in the area where the cream is used. This is not uncommon and should disappear in a short while. If you experience any troublesome or unusual effects, stop using it and check with your doctor or pharmacist as soon as possible. If you know that you are prone to having sensitive skin, please test just a small amount first. Keep in mind that some minor localised redness is normal with tattoo numbing cream. If you have VERY sensitive skin or allergies, you should consider whether this product is right for you or not.

1. In order to ensure maximum effectiveness of this topical anaesthetic, please DON’T DRINK ANY FORM OF ALCOHOL within 24 hours of tattooing, or the product is likely to be less effective and long lasting

2. Spot test the day prior to use on a small area that will be tattooed the next day for 10-20 mins to ensure that your skin doesn’t become inflamed.This is very important especially if you have sensitive skin. Some minor localised redness is normal. Soreness, raised skin or blistering is not normal but also very rare.
